Basically, should guns be regulated (If so, to what extent?), or should they be allowed in all forms?

Guns don't kill people, people kill people.

But guns sure do speed that process up.

The less guns available, the less people can kill with them. The less bullets made and sold, the less the guns are used effectively.

You know, our society wouldn't crumble if guns were removed...

any weapon speeds that process up. and anything can be a weapon. if you want to kill someone bad enough you will find a way to do it. our society wouldnt crumble if people were removed.

Of course anything can be a weapon, but a weapon is an item created for the specfic purpose of killing.

That is all a gun can do. It's an effective killing tool. I know the whole 'anything can kill, and people will' bit, but an item for the sole purpose of killing is that: a killing item.

The more available it is to the public, the easier it is to become Kelbold and Harris. That simple. The harder it is get, the easy it is to single out.

You don't deter anything, and only speed up the murder process.

What you get instead is the people willing to kill multiple people, and cause the economy to have to shift to the sudden amount of money that will be needed to pay for the executions (which would be, in large, massive).

If you want a form of natural selection and such, then Geno again. Otherwise, fighting murder with murder will only break into riots among police and civilians, which will result in Kent State ver. 2.0. W00t!

It was a school (college) protest the ended up turning violent.

A bullet is cheaper than the cost of an execution, plus all the paper work and rights that lead up to it.

You are neglecting the fact that England is now having to do 'knife-control' a friend of mine told me.

When will it end?

When will you realize that you need to punish humans, not objects.

I mean really, murder and manslaughter are already illegal, right? Guess what, that takes care of all society-damaging actions. You can't get guns? I can kill someone with my barehands --should those be illegal?

No, society wouldn't crumble, Crow. But it sure wouldn't change humans themselves.

EDIT: Lmao, my cousin goes to Kent State, so did my art teacher.

Nevertheless, Kent State was the government shooting people. I hardly see how mentioning that is relevant.

I think everyone should have a gun. Anyone that would be commiting a crime would be shot on sight no questions asked and no paperwork needed.

The society would be much cleaner if a bullet can come your way any second.

Of couse, I say this 'cause I'm a stand-up citizen of the law. SUGARLESS ANGEL-SHAPE COOKIES FOR EVERYONE.
